# API Credit Balance Issue After Automatic Payment

Hello,

I’m writing regarding an issue with my Perplexity (Sonar) API credit balance after enabling automatic payments.

Here is the situation clearly:

- I made a **$17 payment** to my API account.

- Before this payment, I already had an **existing $3 balance**.

- After the payment, my account is showing only **$4 available credit** , and my previous $3 balance has disappeared.

- I also see a **$15 “pending / expected payment”** related to automatic billing.

- My understanding is that this pending charge appeared **only because I enabled automatic payments** , and since there was no sufficient balance, it affected my credits.

My request:

- Please **remove/cancel the $15 pending (expected) payment**.

- Please **restore my correct API credit balance** , which should be **$20 total ($17 + $3)**.

I have attached my invoice history screenshot and can provide any additional information if needed.
