History dates changing after bulk category change in Library/Spaces

I just categorized about a years worth of searches and the old (actual) search date was overwritten with todays date.

I would have expected searches that were not amended to have their date unchanged.

dates were overwritten without new searches being made on old threads

  1. take an item in your history (library)
  2. categorize it or change the categorization
  3. watch the date change

  1. API Version: Not using API (using Perplexity web app only)

  2. SDK (if applicable): None

  3. Operating System: Windows 11

dates should be part of all answers to aid debugging and data management. you are generally very weak on database management capability.
