Perplexity Interface API vs Sonar LLM API

I’m using Perplexity (Pro). I use it through the frontend at perplexity.ai. I would like to have API access to what is there, for example I might like to change things with my Threads, Pages, and Spaces. In looking for an API, all I’ve found so far is the sonar API which seems to be a way to interact with the LLM, sending prompts and such, which I have no interest in doing, certainly not if it costs additional money on top of Perplexity Pro.

Can you help me find the interface for interacting with the layer above the LLM stuff?

Hey! Thanks for the note. These features are still in the works with the API! We’ll support them as demand for these features increases.

And how is this increased demand signal to be measured? I certainly hope not by the number of people coming into this forum and asking for it. I think if the bar is set that high, users will just find an alternative AI-powered search service which does provide an API… the space is only getting more competitive by the day.
