Perplexity’s mission is to spark curiosity through accurate, trusted, and real-time answers to any question. Adding more features for Personal Knowledge Management would vastly improve answers.

Perplexity provides answers from the web, but not from personal content or previous content. Ingestion of content would help increase relevant context.

:light_bulb: Proposed Solution

Include features to save articles, PDF’s, YouTube transcripts from the web (e.g. to HTML with images or just Markdown). Keeping your context even if the URL dies. You could then chat with this context (like NoteBookLM), or view it as a knowledge graph with automatic summaries and metadata (e.g. like Readwise Reader or getrecall.io).

This would be a major improvement to Perplexity.
