Feature request: Preserve AI-suggested follow-up prompts after the user begins typing.
Suggested prompts often contain useful, tailored next steps. Currently, they disappear as soon as the Perplexity starts composing a response, making it impossible to refer back to them—for example, “Please answer suggestions 2, 3, and 4.” The assistant also lacks access to the prior visible suggestions, so both the user and assistant lose that context. The prompts are often valuable and in this current config, they are lost.
Requested behavior: Keep suggested prompts available until a message is sent or the user explicitly dismisses them. At minimum, retain them in a collapsible “Suggested follow-ups” history beneath the prior answer, and include their text in the conversation context so numbered references remain resolvable. Or better yet, add a persistent right-side window below sources… that would be a running set of suggested prompts. That would be a big value add feature.
