See subject. I use Perplexity as my default search engine in Firefox 134 on Windows 11, but this also happens when I run a query directly on the Perplexity.ai website. I tried clearing my browser cache and cookies and restarting the browser. Perplexity then writes complete answers a couple of times, but then stalls out again on every query after that.
This is a new, recent issue since Firefox 133 or 134 (not sure which). It also happens in Firefox 134 on Android. I only have 2 extensions installed, BitWarden and Privacy Badger (the latter is disabled for the Perplexity.ai site). The Sonar Large and Default models don’t appear to cause this issue. It doesn’t appear to happen in Chrome.
I find that I get much more thorough and complete answers from Sonar Huge than Sonar Large, which is why I use that by default. Would love to know how I can diagnose this further so I can resolve the issue.
