Sonar moving to Agents API

Hello. As I am reading Sonar is moving to the Agent API and cannot reply there - will the OLD API remain available after 27 Sep or it will be off? Wondering about the deadline to migrate… anyone?

Sonar is moving to the Agent API

Sonar is moving to the Agent API. The Perplexity Agent API keeps grounded web search, and adds multi-step research, code execution, built-in tools, and access to multiple models through one API. On BrowseComp and WideSearch, Agent API more than doubles the best Sonar score. Sonar endpoints are fully available today and retire on September 27, in 45 days. Thank you for your question. The Sonar chat completions endpoint will retire on September 27. You will need to migrate to the Agent API responses endpoint before then.
