Billing auto recharge form errors

:bug: Describe the Bug

When I update the auto recharge, it requires a minimum of $50 now. Used to accept $5.

Now when I switch auto to off, then click Save, it cannot save, always shows and error and the form setting is not updated.

Seems like three issues:

  • Minimum recharge for me is now $50
  • Cannot switch auto recharge off (error on save, settings not updated)
  • Auto recharged another $50 when my balance dropped by a tiny amount ~S0.50

  • I can set minimum balance of $5 before recharge
  • I can switch off auto recharge

  • Error on save when set auto recharge to off
  • Error message when enter $2 or $5 as minimum recharge “Amount too low. Please enter an amount of at least $50.”

  1. Login to https://console.perplexity.ai/
  2. Click on Billing, then
  3. Click “Change preferences”, then
  4. Update preferences per above, then
  5. Click Save,
  6. Error message displayed top right of screen “Error. Please try again.”

Hey @Matt_McFedries — the $50 minimum recharge amount is a recent change to the billing system, so that part is working as intended.

However, the issues with not being able to disable auto-recharge (save error) and the unexpected recharge trigger on a ~$0.50 balance drop are worth looking into. Please email api@perplexity.ai with your account details and reference this thread — the billing team can help sort out both of those issues directly.
