Description:
When selecting text in a generated answer that was based on one or more uploaded files in a thread, right-clicking previously showed a “View in file” option that jumped directly to the corresponding passage in the source document. This option has recently disappeared from the context menu.
Steps to reproduce:
- Start a new thread and upload a PDF/document as a source.
- Ask a question referencing the uploaded file’s content.
- In the generated answer, select (highlight) a sentence or phrase that was derived from the uploaded file.
- Right-click the selected text.
Expected: a “View in file” option appears, linking to the relevant passage in the source document.
Actual: this option no longer appears in the context menu.
